1960 newspapers
Somebody brought some 1960's newspapers to my gig tonight and I had a look through them.

Lots of "Christian" stuff, and page-long wedding announcements listing every garment everybody in the wedding party wore down to the last wrinkle.

The "ask abby" type letters were a hoot.

One went something like:

"I've met this really nice guy, he's the same religion and he's my age and we have a lot in common and he's the right race...".

I'd forgotten how blatant the racism was back then.
