8. No no no, no "gold" tequila!
Edited on Sat Mar-12-05 11:37 PM by priller
It's only half real tequila, the rest is grain alcohol, with added coloring to make it gold. Stay far away!!!

Silver or blanco tequila is good for mixing, but if you want to drink it straight, go for the Reposado or Anejo.

Sauza Conmemorativo is a really good deal for Anejo.

15. I'm not sure about Jose Cuervo
Some gold tequilas are 100%, but in that case they're blanco with added caramel coloring. However, if it doesn't say 100% agave on the label, it's mixed with some other kind of alcohol.

23. I was being sarcastic, as in "is there really ANY tequila in there...?"
Edited on Sun Mar-13-05 01:07 PM by mike_c
The Cuervo Tradicionale, on the other hand, is actually a quite good reposado for a reasonable price.

5. Ewww....Mad Dog really doesn't go with anything!

But if you like it, go for it.

Bum wine tends to make me puke, when I usually have intestines of steel.

9. The only thing Mad Dog goes with is...
... warming yourself by a barrel fire, and sleeping in a gutter.

7. Yes, and they are the ugliest green color I have ever seen!
I bought some to try. My husband opened the bag and said, "Honey, these Doritos are moldy!" LOL

They really do look moldy.
