"How To Get A Free Pizza" by Floogeldy
I noticed that the last few Red Baron pizzas I purchased actually fit on my cookie sheet, instead of hanging over the edge about a half inch.

Well, I sent them an E-Mail complaining about their pizzas shrinking and they sent me a letter of apology and a coupon for any Red Baron product!

They also said they have notified their plant to fix the problem. Yea, RIGHT!

1. Something like that happened to me last week.
I bought a box of six Gorton's frozen fish filets. When I opened it up there was only five. I am sure they never make a mistake in the other direction and put in seven. I didn't say anything, I just won't get Gorton's fish any time real soon.

5. I bought several boxes of conversation hearts
a couple years ago for a Valentine's Day Math activity. When one of my students opened his box, he said 'wow, there's a diamond in here'. Another kid said 'I have one too'. I thought they had lost their minds until I looked and sure enough, each of those boxes had a couple little rhinestones in them. So I emailed the company and sent pictures.

They sent me a CASE of those conversation hearts, along with a neat letter and pictures of their plant. They explained that they have very strict policies forbidding employees from wearing jewelry and requiring smocks to cover their clothing. They apologized and told me they would send me another case the next Valentine's Day if I wrote and requested it. They also asked me to send the boxes to them so they could trace the UPC labels and find out what had happened to cause the rhinestones to be in those particular boxes.

So it turned out to be a pretty neat experience. My kids got a kick out of it.
