Guys, if you play that song for your woman and you don't get lucky, you just weren't trying!

1. I LOVE that song. Especially like the Live at the London
Palladium version. The best. I actually saw him perfom that tour at Radio City. Amazing.

2. Ah....one of my favorites, the live version is great, too

Sorry I can't listen tonight....I'm fully in Latin music mode tonight:

Buena Vista Social Club

La Banda Gorda

Africando

Rikarena

Elvis Crespo

Kinito Mendez

....

You know I'll always be a soul man, but it's just a different flavor of soul tonight. Maybe one day I'll have to send you a CD showing the similarity between the brass arangements in soul (especially Willie Mitchell arangements like the Al Green records from Hi), reggae, salsa, and merengue.

3. I would pay a lot to listen to some Marvin tunes tonight.
Or Al green.

But even if I had some of their albums i would not listen to it by myself tonight.

The weird thing about "soul" is that when I am with somebody it makes me feel higher. More alive.

How come when I feel so damn alone it makes me feel like fuken shit?

lise

Just reread my post and realised that I was contradicting myself... Oh, well nobody is perfect.

7. Interesting, listening to Al Green can make me happy when I'm sad

You should try his greatest hits CD:

It really is one of the best music compilations man has ever seen....seriously. It's that good.

5. Sure feels like it!
This is the fourth airshift I've done since Wednesday. And I'm slowly fading out, like the end of "Hey Jude." :boring:

This was Spring Break week at UConn, so a lot of the student DJs were away. That's why WHUS the last few days has seemed like "all NightTrain, all the time."
