Do you refill liquor bottles?

Got a couple of friends who drink only Crown Royal.
Oh yeah, JUST Crown Royal and water. Couple of ice cubes.
"Oh that's the ONLY thing I drink. Crown Royal."
And I have a Crown Royal bottle. Little blue velvet bag and all.
And I just keep filling that sucker up with Canadian Club and they keep tossing it down and smacking their lips.
I'm happy to furnish "types" of booze to my friends.
If you drink gin, I've got gin.
I won't try to get you to drink vodka instead.
But I refuse to buy "brands".

"Johnny Walker? Sure. Right here."
Pull out the JW bottle and pour 'em up.
100 Pipers.
It's what I drink and if it's good enough for me, it's good enough for them.
"That's some good Scotch."
"Right."

My dirty little secret.
I'm a cheap bastid.

1. Don't be a hypocrite-if they don't like what you serve---

let them bring their own,or drink water.

3. It actually gives me a little perverse pleasure.

Plus we are (mostly) southern, and therefore ipso facto ladies and gentlemen, and getting a bit long in tooth, and polite and kind, and eager to please and be good hosts, and we understand we don't have as much time left as we did oh...last year, and we like being cosseted and catered to, and so I am able to cater and cosset at considerably less expense than eveyone would suspect.

I am a scoundrel and a mountebank, and possilbly guilty of subterfuge, but there it is.

7. I Like Crown Royal a LOT

but realistically, if someone's going to get schnockered, NOBODY's palate is so aristocratic after three drinks that switching to cheaper whiskey is going to matter anyway.

Why do people get the attitude that they can only drink one specific brand. Hell, I'll drink just about anything.
