I made a C in Astronomy and remember more about it. God, there is something so screwed up about that.

1. I can understand it quite well...
creating grammatically correct sentences is next to impossible, however!!!

6. Sorry...I just had a margarita.
It's 80 here, and we're pretending we're in Mexico on a Spring Break Vacation.

2. Es muy malo!
My mother is Mexican and I don't even speak Spanglish well. Don't feel too bad about it.

4. I got a B in C programing when I was in collage and couldn't write
a program to save my life. Then in my communications class where I was the leader of our Task group which got the highest grade of all the groups I got C - because this Lady's tests sucked. Meanwhile this guy in our group who was extremely shy and never said a word in the Group got an A. Now tell me that the grading system in Communications is not screwed up? Communication should be based on communications skills and results not based on some lame test with trick questions.

9. Senora Al-Jarrah is the greatest teacher ever...
and the nicest woman on the face of the planet. I acted like I was concerned, skipped a lot, and she took pity, I guess. LOVE HER.
It's weird that someone who's married to a man from Jordan and can speak three or four languages is a Spanish Prof.

8. that's cuz astronomy is cool
I was the same way with French. I learned how to take French tests really well, but I didn't quite learn how to speak the language. When I actually went to France, it was pretty much a cluster-fuck. People were helpful, though. :)

12. I understand a bit...but not much more than when I started...
I was being melodramatic...and had a good laugh in the car on the way home about it.
