I feel a Wilco marathon coming on
I had sort of a sad week, and I'm just coming off of it onto a weekend when I'll be alone a lot.

I think there will be much Wilco played -- just sad enough, just okay enough.

Any Wilco DU fans?

3. Uncle Tupelo/Jay Farrar/Son Volt/Wilco
I'm much more a Jay Farrar guy, buy I still love Jeff's stuff, too. It's funny, but I was listening to "Hotel Arizona" when I first saw this..

4. I love Wilco
If I'm not mistaken they started in a nearby town to me. I also love their Mermaid Avenue albums with Billy Bragg.
I think I'll put on one of their albums now.

They're right up my alley. What sort of music do you think I like? I don't listen to classic rock ALL the time.

10. Oh I do love me some Rage
They're one of my all time favorites and I have all their albums. I'm not a big metal fan though. I listen to Beck, Ryan Adams and Willie Nelson more than something like Linkin Park or System of a Down.

9. What's not to love?
Some pop, some country, some folk, some rock.

Wilco is right for every mood.

But I especially love how they're sort of reflective and okay about being sad.

Roots music that reaches different genres and moods. Like Steve Earle, Lucinda Williams or Ryan Adams. Are you fans of them too?

12. Oh I'll definitely do some Ryan Adams in my Wilco Weeekend Marathon
In my mental CD collection they go on the same shelf.
