Which Came First: James Brown or David Bowie?
Who borrowed from who?

James Brown, ca. 1976-Hot (I need to be loved loved loved)

David Bowie, ca. 1975-Fame.

Trying to figure out whose lick that was and who lifted it intact for another song.
