Me? Well, hopefully I have some jumbo franks in the freezer left over from the last time I made chili dogs. I microwave one and he snarfs it up in about 7 seconds.

If no franks, I spread peanut butter on a piece of bread and cut it up for him. I have a miniature cockapoo.

What do you do?

5. I don't have a dog, but when I run out of cat food
the little hairy beasts usually get water-packed white albacore tuna. The problem is that when I finally get some cat food for them, they remember the tuna and get all snarky with me and give me that squinty crabby-cat look. If I have no tuna I give them whatever meat I have around. They are generally fine with this.

19. Did you ever wonder...
how you can get a can of chunk light tuna for 50 cents, and the cats will kill over it, try to chew through the can, and make your life miserable until they get more.

But, the cat food companies sell us cans of stuff made for, and presumably tested by, cats for the same price or more, and the cats all think it sucks.

Am I the only one who thinks this odd?

10. I tried to feed my cat refried beans once.
I ran out of food and wasn't able to go to the store right away. I opened up a can of refried beans. My thinking-it kind of looks like cat food. Needless to say, he didn't go for it!

11. And a good thing, too.
You do not want to experience the Tactical Cat Fart, especially of the bean-enhanced variety.

13. Are you sure he didn't hide the dog food himself?
Be careful with that peanut butter, especially with one of the 'poos if it has a peke-face. Peanut butter causes mucucs. Dogs are ominvores, you can feed them anything. Except chocolate, that's toxic to 'em. I feed mine a carrot a day and day old bread from BiLo everyday. And cabbage and broccoli hearts when I get the chance, in addition to their dog food.

14. We make the dog go to the store and buy his own damn dog food
Gotta teach your dog individual responsibility. It's what makes America great.

(No just kidding. Really Lucky, I wouldn't make you do that. Really)

16. We feed our dog a B.A.R.F. diet
Bones And Raw Food So she eats a wide variety of food. And she eats multiple times a day. It is easy yo feed her because everything is raw. She eats what we eat. Commercial dog food has only been popular for about 50 years and that is because of commercialization. But dogs ate what people ate, or killed something. There are tonnes of books and websites out there that support a raw diet. Dogs will eat things that will surprise you.
