My 1000th post and I just want to say.....

Thank you to all the members of the Democratic Underground and all those the maintain and support this site.

After the last election it has been the one site that keeps me sane.


I have one philosophy in life....

Do the best you can every day in every way with what you know and understand.

None of us get out of here alive and by living this simple truth I have "FAITH" that I will be OK once I do leave this place.

We are living in a pivotal time for mankind. One that we all have to make difficult choices as we proceed through the fog. We all must continue to carry the torch for others to see. We all must rise above the scum that has overtaken this country and take back what is rightfully ours as citizens of the United States of America.

The right to be FREE.... from an overzealous government. One that is open and honest with its people.

The right to be FREE.... to believe or not to believe in a higher power.

The right to be FREE... to not live in fear that someone will say I am a terrorist and then be secretly taken away to another country to be tortured.

The right to be FREE ....to Love anyone I happen to fall in love with and choose to marry.

The right to be FREE .....from having to beg with tin cans on counter-tops for an operation that will save my life.

It is time for all Americans to wake up and see what is happening to this country.

Since I do not ad-hear to any religion... don't take this last statement as my support of such...but it is as close to a religious feeling as I can imagine..
