6. I never, ever, EVER liked glazed yeast doughnuts.

Until I was handed a warm sample fresh off the line while at Krispy Kreme.

I don't think I will ever be a KK addict, but I do now admit they are very good.

I still prefer cake doughnuts, though, and I always order a cake doughnut if we go to Krispy Kreme.

They're too sugary and they taste mass-produced, especially the glazed ones. There's a local bakery back home with awesome doughnuts. The place has been there for like 30 years or so and they know their doughnuts.

16. I do NOT like Krispy Kremes...

they are highly overrated and far too expensive,although they certainly will do in a pinch when the donut beast calls.

I'm not all that thrilled about Dunkin' Donuts, either, but with stuff like donuts, to each his own taste.

Aside from some local bakeries and donut shops randomly spread around the country, I've noticed 7-11 has a deal where they contract with local bakeries to deliver donuts made to their specs.

The quality probably varies slightly from area to area, but the ones I've had are pretty damn good.
