I don't care what anyone says - I think that movie is a hoot to watch. It was the Showgirls of my generation (well, I was only 11 when I first saw the movie in the theater).

Ask me anything including compresshensive study about how the plot line actually worked and who was in it!

4. It so bad it's cheesy...
..to be honest, the songs sung by the BeeGee, Peter Frampton and even Sandy Farina are actually pretty good. But when you have George Burns doing a softshoe dance to "Fixing a Hole" well, that's time for a bathroom break!

12. Excellent! It's *worse* than I remember!
I completely forgot about the George Burns bit. But I remember liking Billy Preston's number. (Though I don't remember what it was now. Got To Get You Into My Life?) But then, I always did like Billy Preston. He must have just been in some crazy '70's cocaine haze to consider doing this movie.

How was Aerosmith as "Future Villain Band"?

7. It was Whimscially Bad Fun
And Aerosmith was one of the highlights of the movie too along with Steve Martin doing Silver Hammer.

Come on, isn't there a really bad movie that you enjoy watching?

6. How could it be the "Showgirls" of your gen, when it doesn't have...
gratuitous full-frontal nudity?

And, isn't "Showgirls" the "Showgirls" of your generation, anyhow?

8. I don't know, Lucy Diamonds was pretty much hanging out everywhere....
...and ok, it was the movie of my childhood generation. Obviously no child of 12 years should be allowed to watch Showgirls

13. Something about Robin Gibb singing "Oh Darling" in the recording studio
That's about the only memory I have from that film (saw it when it came out, and was about the same age as you were).

Oh wait, there was Aerosmith doing "Come Together". That rocked.
