Would you support a DUer if they ran for president?
Instead of the usual suspects, i.e. politicians, lawyers, senators, congressmen? The great American Dream tells us that anyone born in this country can become president, but in past years we know that this is far from the truth. Money and connections are more important than truth and conviction.

5. I'm sure a poll on that opinion would bring in 100 percent of the vote.

My only problem with Arnold running is that it sounds freaky to allow a frigging actor to run the country, but I digress, Good luck dirtbag :).

30. Yep, I know
My grandfather knew he would be bad, he didnt live to see it, guy worked his whole life with union people, knew the Reuther brothers and met Hoffa, I think he would have been saddened to see how badly Reagan fucked up unions. Certainly different guys who were aroudn the same age but with different goals, sigh I wish I met him.

10. hrmm....
is this some cheap ploy to take me out of the running for Pope?

If nominated, I will not run. If elected I will not serve. The Vatican or Bust!

22. well I think you'll be disappointed
you have a College of Cardinals appointed almost entirely by the current, conservative Pope. They're not electing a liberal - which is why my insurgent, outsider campaign needs your support.

25. I dont expect a liberal
Ha if you really were running and it was fanfare, you'd know I support you. I dont expect the Cardinals to pick a liberal, but if they pick a non opus edi member, I'll be content, Opus Dei is one of the problems with Catholicism, its fucking on our highest court with both Thomas and Scalia.

with a few rare exceptions. That's not limited to America, either. I think there are a good number of DU'ers who would make good Presidents, much better presidents, in fact, than anything we have ever seen.

18. I would support many for
State Rep, State Senator, Rep, Senator, etc. That is what we need to do. Get these crappy apologists for the Repugs out of office, and get some real dems in. This vote on the bankruptcy bill is disgusting. Endorsement by the some House Dems is even more disgusting. Need some real Dems.

BTW, where is Dean on this one!?!?

31. I'll run...
Here's my platform:
1) If you outsource, I'm gonna tax your sorry ass with penalties.
2) Guns and abortions for those who want them, if you don't want either one, don't have one.
3) No more offshore tax dodges.
4) By Executive Order, minimum wage will now be $8.00 with an incremental increase of $.50/year for three consecutive years.
5) End free trade status with Red China.
6) Alternative energy research to give us real energy independence.
7) Take steps to minimize the effects of global warming and cut pollution across the board.

What about it? I'll also accuse anyone who opposes these policies of supporting terror and hating America.
