Let's see your room or your record collection
Edited on Tue Mar-08-05 10:03 PM by ZoCrowes
I was taking some pictures and got a few of my room.

Lot more posters on the other walls.

Pile on the far left is Dylan. Tallest pile is Beatles next to that is Beatles solo albums, then Oasis then Doors then Led Zeppelin

More CDs

Even more CDs

More CDs

DVDs and more CDs

CDs on the floor

About $300 worth of Stones bootlegs (whole reason I took these pics)

And not a SINGLE one of these CDs is burnt! All the burnt ones are kept behind the TV in a pile. The white labels are from when I used to carry my CDs around in wallets and when I moved out I lost all the old cases.

Edited: I don't think the ex would appreciate her picture up here. Sorry bout that accidently pasted the wrong link

27. Yep
I figured the nehibors would not appreciate the power of the Marshall JCM 900 50 watt head and 4x12 cab in the apartment so I use the POD.

It's a fun piece of equipment and great with headphones. I was thinking about getting the guitar port. How is it?

42. It's excellent, though a bit streamlined compared to the POD.
It's perfect for home recording and apartment playing (like yourself, I don't want to make enemies with the neighbors). You can also add on additional model packs (including all the POD XT amp models).

George Harrison when he was in Hawaii). Beatles Anthology (the book and DVDs), America: the Book...good taste!

33. Why thank you
I have more Beatles crap than anything else. Tons of books, all the official albums, buncha bootlegs, a few dvds and bootleg dvds, posters and quite a few of the solo albums.

I wondered who would notice the cut-off George Harrison poster. Damn good eyes

36. I know my Beatles (solo or otherwise) like the back of my hand.
I'll looooove them 'til the day I leave this planet.

I have a shitload of stuff (books, records, posters, etc.), but it's scattered about the house; some are in shadow boxes, some are in bookshelves, etc. There were some Beatles dolls that came out around 1987 (early Beatles and Sgt. Pepper) that I have displayed downstairs. I have a lot of my posters framed, but some still need to be done. It's basically a collection-in-progress. I went bonkers on Ebay about a year ago (got some original stuff, like the "Flip Your Wig" game.). My poor husband puts up with my collection (but then, he's into Star Wars, so that's his passion. That and computer games?!

I'm not much on the Beatlemania stuff.

Also play an Epiphone Casino which Paul called his fav guitar and John played as his main axe from 66 to his death

Star Wars blah! Beatles is much cooler lol

38. I keep most of my CD collection in the garage.
Edited on Tue Mar-08-05 11:32 PM by stopbush
It starts here, both racks are CDs (Notice the old Wizard of Oz Editions under the clock?):

Then, it goes here:

and then it ends here:

All classical. Well, 95% at least.

I have about 200 more in the house in an easy-access cabinet.

Sorry the pix are so big.

That's my blue bug!

Have you listened to all of those CD's?? Also have you considered opening up your own classical radio station...that collection would rival a lot of public radio stations! :P

41. I've listened to at least 70% of them. I was in the biz for many years -
Edited on Wed Mar-09-05 12:03 AM by stopbush
most of them were freebies. Many are still sealed.

BION - I used to have even more, but I got rid of about 3,000 of them before I moved from NJ to NV. Sold some, gave a bunch away to friends and family. At one point, I had LPs up the wazoo, but I gradually got rid of them as I replaced fav recordings with CDs.

I don't buy much anymore. Maybe 100 per year, tops.

And, with about 6500 CDs on hand, I probably listen to the same 300-400 over and over again.

Sick, ain't it?
