I finally broke down and watched the movie "Chicago" because it
seems like everyone else has. I had no idea that was how it was going to be. At least now I understand the words PopSixSquish ;). It wasn't anything like I thought it would be. I do have a new favorite saying from it,"Some men just can't hold their arsenic" That was very funny. Otherwise...it was okay.

1. Sorry Mrs...
We haven't seen it. Not our type of movie.

Saw a bit of it on Pay-Per-View at the hotel. Looked...ho-hum to me.

2. I didn't think it would be mine either...and I was right.
Pretty much, except for that line. It cracks me up.

4. Give it 3 and a half Stars.
But it is best seen in a quality theatre. I thought Queen Latifa was great.

5. Reasons I liked it
1. Anti-Death penalty. Only the innocent women gets exectuted. Totally railroaded. For mixing music and deathrow tragedy, not as good as Dancer in the Dark, but about as good as you can expect from Mirimax.

2. Media criticism. I thought it was pretty savvy.

3. Music. I liked it.

4. Costumes.

5. Latifah. Did very well with a limited character, similar to her roll in Laughing out Loud, adding some complexity, ironic touches and good singing. She made it memorable.

6. All the minor characters in fact were good, good singing numbers from the guys.

7. Renée Zellweger. I just love her and thought this was a fantastic performance.
