What TV series are you hooked on right now? Also..
So what TV series are you hooked on right now? Also which series have you seen every single episode of, or close to every one?

Currently I'm watching:

Enterprise
Smallville
Stargate SG-1

Watched every episode of:

Babylon 5
Star Trek TNG
Star Trek DS9
Star Trek Voyager
Farscape
Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Angel

Things I've seen a lot of:

Simpsons
Family Guy
X-Files

These are just off the top of my head I'm probably forgetting more than a few.

1. Deadwood
Best. Series. On. Sometimes I'll watch the East Coast showing and then the West Coast airing a few hours later. I may be sick.

23. God Yes, "Deadwood"
Best series on TV, absolutely. Even better than "The Sopranos." The new season has just started on Sunday nights; they repeat each show several times, so you don't have to miss anything. Those of you who aren't watching yet, catch a clue and get addicted with the rest of us. Pronto.

3. Lost, though I missed a few of the earlier episodes.
My wife and I starting watching when ABC re-ran the first four episodes. It's by far the smartest, best new program on TV.

It's the greatest show since the X-Files! That, and Sayid isn't bad on the eyes, either. ;)

7. Damn I came in too late to see much of Battlestar Galactica...
I saw a few episodes the other night and knew I would be hooked. The episode I saw was where the doctor tests out his Cylon detector on one of the crew while Starbuck interrogates a Cylon saboteur. I need to get the rest of this series, maybe I can download the earlier episodes on line.

10. "hooked" is the very problem
I don't watch TV anymore and it's the best thing that ever happened to my life. Sometimes I'll be at someone's house and I'll see a show, and if I like it I'll think- "cool show. too bad it's on every week".

I truly don't mind the material they present, it's the fact that they present so damn much of it. Tivo, shmeevo- you can't watch "24" without giving up too many hours of your life, no matter when you find time to watch it. And the more I learned about the industry (in film school) the more I hate it.

I now think that TV is the most dangerous addiction I ever had to deal with.

I had to root on the hometown girl last season. Otherwise, it is Enterprise and Battlestar.

13. Wonderfalls, too.
I got the DVD set, and now I'm even more angry than ever that it got cancelled. Seriously awesome show! It's so funny it'll make milk come out of your nose (or whatever you're drinking at the time), so be careful when you watch it.

Arrested Development is really funny, but Wonderfalls is even better. Of course, Fox has to ruin both. :(

I didn't really fall for any of the other reality series, but I fell hard for this one. I love the fast pace and the international locales. Plus, it really shows how people are undre pressure.

16. Most of my regulars are cable shows that are off right now
Monk, Dead Zone and Nip/Tuck.

Plus Arrested Development is done for the year (possibly forever although I highly doubt that.)

The only two shows I'm watching regularly right now are the West Wing and the Ultimate Fighter on Spike TV.

I keep meaning to watch Committed on NBC but I always miss it.

I've really cut down on my TV watching and I'm much happier for it.

19. Shows I try not to miss
In no particular order:

Alias - Jennifer Garner is hot!

Amazing Race and Survivor

Smallville - I like the fresh take on Supes early days

Joan of Arcadia

24 - The ONLY Fox program I'll ever watch

And after last night, The Contender. Excellent debut if you're a fight fan. It's second episode is on Thurs at 10pm est and then at its regular time of 8pm est Sunday.

I tape to watch later Everybody Loves Raymond, Two and a Half Men, and Lost.

21. Shows I've seen nearly all of
Include:

The original Star Trek; Tried the Next Generation and other Star Trek off shoots but none compare to Kirk, Spock, Sulu, Scotty, Bones, etc.

All of the Three Stooges and Little Rascals

The Bob Newhart Show CBS, Larry, Darrell and Darrell were a hoot!

Lois and Clark; The New Adventures of Superman. Didn't need Desperate Housewives to know Terri Hatcher was a hottie.

Happy Days, Barney Miller, and countless other comedies; Just way to many to name.

And of course sports, college and pro! Did watch the US Hockey teams win over the Soviets in '80 and that is a moment of sports history I doubt I'll ever see again.

22. Carnivàle
God damn, what a show! Very Lynchian (referring to David Lynch of course) in its style. Quite creepy.

I've also been really into this mid-90s Danish Miniseries called Riget (The Kingdom) lately. Stephen King did a remake of it called "Kingdom Hospital" which I haven't seen yet, but I doubt it's anywhere near comparable to Riget.

25. 24
Yeah, I know, I have heard all the criticism of the show but I don't care, I still like it.

I also like Wild West Tech on the History Channel. It shows the Old West the way it really was as opposed to the sanitized John Wayne version of the West. I don't have HBO, so I can't watch Deadwood.
