I'm ticked
Last week Monday I sent by registered mail a cashier's check for many $$$$'s to pay off my car, they never received the check! I called last this afternoon, their response really irritated me. Their response was-- it's too bad! That's your problem. I have my receipt from the registered mail for them to sign, so far I've not received a copy back in the mail. So, what happens now? I have the copy of the cashier's check and proof that I mailed the check . If I say anymore I will use words that I don't normally use, one word begins with f.

1. Call the Post Office and
have them trace the Registered letter. Registered mail is treated like gold (or should be) by the Post Office. See if they got a signature.

3. That was my thought
They told me that my pay off payment must be received in their office by March 14, bet you money this check will be retrieved after March 14th? I don't think they could get away with this though, I have the date the check was mailed and the date of the cashiers check. I bet what they will say is, they never received the check. I know banks do not like receiving payoffs. This was a huge check!

So, what happens if no one ever signed for the mail? It got lost in the mail. I'm really worried.
