Cox telephone information sucks

I have a Cox house, digital TV, high speed internet and telephone. Whenever I call Cox info for a phone number, they tell me there is no such place. There is no such number. I say there is, have info of the company in front of me, they send me to their supervisor who sends me to one of the stores or company for me to ask for the number. I think Cox information is outsourced. Recent example, asked for Sunflower Market, there is a store less than two miles from my house, the supervisor gave me a number in Tempe for me to ask them for the number. Actually Cox info asked me how to spell sunflower. This is the fourth time I called Cox info and they could not give me the correct information.

1. 411 sucks period!

Since it's become automated it bites the big one.

Give me the old days with a smart assed Ernestine Tomlin type over some lame ass computer voice anyday.

2. Maybe all 411 is outsourced

They tell me they never heard of the street. What a main street in my city and you never heard of it? Yep, all 411 is outsourced! Isn't it wonderful to have our info sent to another country. Yet, shrub says he is protecting us from terrorism. Sure .

Four years ago I never had a problem with 411. When is our government going to outsource 911? God help us all, if they do.

3. they at least tried

to outsource 911 in one city or town (senior moment) but the public got wind of it and they raised hell.

4. I've given up on them

I find the number faster on the internet, and I don't have to pay anything.

It's a drag if you're trying to get in touch with someone with a new phone number, though.
