Despite the efforts of whatever, to try to stop me from going to the Job Fair today...

With copies of my resumes in tow, I leapt into the great wintry mess and trudged on my ice caked way to the VA Beach Pavilion.
There I hobnobbed, pitched, glad handed and sashayed my way amongst the potential employers.
My goal; to work for the man. I talked to folks from FBI, CIA, Homeland Security, The Coast Guard and reps from the Military Industrial Complex.
I also dabbled outside the scope of the man... Who knows, I might be selling Nissans.
But all in all, I spread my resumes and gleaned some important info.
When I walked out, I saw that the sky was blue and that the sun was shining. The weather had cleared up, what it seemed like, for me.
I was like I had navigated a gauntlet of travails and came out smelling like a rose.
Was it all worth it? I don't know. We'll see what happens. All I know I'm back at the bosom of my homestead and the snow is but a fading memory:
I was that close to giving up.
I'm glad that I didn't.
