a bill that would limit access to the ingredients and increase reporting requirements of pharmacists ... etc. It's a growing problem here in Southern WV -- yes, rednecks. :D :P Something really needs to be done.

Yep, in seven years of social work, in the meth capitol of the country, San Bernardino, I always found them to be great with kids (sarcasm now off).

One time, I was called to the scene of a meth lab. A "tall boy" had gone off (a tank of hydrochloric acid). Fortunately, the "brain surgeons" processing the stuff had the sense of a snail, and quickly shoved it into a pail of water. Mom was outside in the yard with the kids. Told me it was safe there (as it turns out, not so true, in certain circumstances).

certainly appeared to be true (to me).

And I always laughed when someone said, "but Dad has a job - he's a trucker.'

I used to reply, "Dad travels through Oklahoma . Just what do you think he is transporting? Just who do you think persuaded Mom to start using meth?" Always were interesting questions, anyway. And the answers were even more interesting.

Everyone pretty much was always nice to me (they were middle management, businessmen and businesswomen). Sometimes their business was not government-sanctioned, however.
