Curious to hear a reaction on their latest release. I have it and have skimmed through it but I wanna see what other people think of it....

2. YES! They're opening for U2....

What I've heard, I've liked...seems weird they're getting more recognition overseas (I think) when they're American boys.

Ah well. I really dig "Bucket" and "Soft"...not sure yet about the whole thing. I've been meaning to pick up the first album also.

They have too much hair though. My only real critique. :)

but so far, I like their first album more than the latest. It's more straight ahead stuff but they really nail it.

The new album strikes me as a bit pretentious at times. Like, does this guys REALLY sing like this or did his producer say, "Hey, sing it like you're having a seizure."

Maybe it needs to grow on me...

4. See yeah, I haven't listened to the first album, so

I have nothing to compare it to....and aren't they *really* young, like 17,18,19 or something?

I think in a few albums they'll be incredible...an early prediction.

the UK press discovers the cool bands long before we hear about them. They're from Nashville (where I live) so I caught wind of 'em earlier.

Hopefully I'll get to see them on tour with U2, though :)

7. I don't know...

When I saw them in Nashville about 3 years ago, they looked to be at least in their mid-20s. Now everyone is saying they're really young. I think there's a lot of lying going on in the music industry. I guess people like a band like that more if they think they're prodigies.
