Which cell phone provider do you use?
I use sprint and it's OK, but not that great. I haven't had any dropped calls in a while...so I'd say it's improved for me atleast. My contract runs out eventually, so I'd like to see what others expeiences here was. Plus, I don't like to spend much on the phones (my current phone was purchased after 5 years and that too cost 20 bucks).

BTW, anyone use any of the GSM services like T Mobile or Cingular? The GSM phones seem neat, but way too expensive.

1. T-Mobile
Good company overall. Not the best coverage outside of cities or major highways, but there's plenty of coverage for me. They've also got the best value in plans and great customer service (although sometimes you have to call a couple times to get someone who knows what they're talking about... but that happens with any provider)

5. Vodafone (U.K.)
I'm on a pay as you go, as I only use it very infrequently and a monthly contract would be rather silly.

I send text messages far more than make calls on it.

7. Cingular. We had T Mobile and were always cutting out. We have the base LG
phone. I'm thrilled with it so far. 3 phones, 850 rollover minutes a month for $60. So far we've got 2500 rollover minutes...I'm gonna have to find someone to talk to. :hi:

9. Verizon Wireless. Ten years, through different names and mergers.
But, it's been very good. We have 3 of them on the Family Share plan. In Southern California, it is another form of earthquake insurance. I actually got my first one as a "horse phone" - to use for emergencies on trail rides. Saved me and my horse twice. Wouldn't have a "car phone," back then.

10. Started with Cingular.................
and they sucked. Lost calls frequently. That was 3 years ago, I've heard they've improved since then.
I've been with Verizon for 2 years, not a single problem. I'll probably stay with them, as my contract runs out in June. If itain't broke, don't fix it.

12. Started with AT&T and then got Cingular as part of the takeover
We have two phones on one plan and my hubby's company picks up half the tab. Our phones behave like walkie-talkies in that we don't have to pay for calls to each other...if hubby is out of town, I can call him and no charge as long as it is in the plan which is really large.

Otherwise it normally loses its charge in my purse because I am not a big cell phone user.
