Speed reading: had luck with any programs and which one has ads on AAR?
My wife is really interested in increasing her reading speed and has been talking about experimenting with some speed reading program. Does anyone have any experience with any programs and which one advertizes on Air America? We like to support the supporters of Air America.

i took the Evelyn Woods program a few years ago ... i know others who have taken it ... we all have the same comment: if you stay with it and use it all the time, you will increase your reading speed ...

but it seems like everyone stops using the technique shortly after the class ends ... and their reading speed goes right back to where they began ...

i guess i don't think these courses are worthwhile for most people ...
