Poll question: If you had a boat, what would you name it?
We live in a marina and see lots of boats with unique names, such as

Permanent Wave - Owner is a hairdresser

On Our Mary Way - Owner's wife is named Mary

Our boat is named the "Jimmy Dreams" for a Jimmy Buffett song...also my husband's name is Jim. Our dinghy is named "Boat Drinks", another Buffett song.

Name your dream boat or tell me the name of the boat you already own!

... inspiration right now, but if I were to own a boat, the first thing that comes to mind is "Don' Be Sinkin'." :)

I'd go out on that ocean. And if I had a pony, I would ride him on that boat...

7. "Me upon my pony upon my boat"
We gave our grandson (age three) a toy pony for Christmas and decided that we would take a picture of him on that pony on our boat for next year's Christmas picture because we all love the song. Thanks!

4. "Was His"
If I'd had a rich ex, that's what I'd name it. However, my ex didn't have a pot to piss in, before nor after our marriage, and not since our divorce. :7

15. My Grandfather owned many Cabin Cruisers
over the years. Roamers, Chris Crafts. Great boats. He sold his last one when I was a kid, but I was old enough to remember going out on Lake Michigan with him.

He named them all the same. ROGAL.

It was a combination of family names, Roy, Robert, Gladys & Al.

Me, I prefer cars...

the boats in the marina right next to ours are named...

Glory Days (wife's name is Gloria)

Island Time (they lived in Bahamas for years)

Tan Nude (they are are nudists but their last name is Tanude)

Bigger Than I Thought (my husband once asked the owner's girlfriend if it really was bigger than she thought, causing huge blushing)

23. I have several and they are all called "my boat"
Of course, I can break it down to "my canoe" "my kayak" "my rowboat" "the sailboat" "the old kayak that's rotting in the woods I need to burn someday". I guess I have only small boats and they are all called "mine" for my 3 yr old mind. I would name a big one something NOT cute, not punny, probably nothing to do with Narnia, maybe some nature name.
