My Grandma died, my (now ex) husband cheated, lied and filed for divorce, my mom had a brain tumor and thyroid cancer. That was just 2004, and just as I thought things couldn't get worse, BANG! I'm in a car accident. However, I must say that things are getting better. Do you need a hug?

That fucking money hole our entire culture is centered around that sneaks up on you and grabs you when you are just trying to get through the day and reminds you of just how dependent you are on it to do so.

7. after work last Friday...

went out to the parking lot and battery was DEAD, thankfully and nice person helped me out and got it going. I was thinking, "oh god, please just let the car start!" It is ALWAYS the car, lol.

Luckily those days are behind me but I've always been amazed that good times always end and good things that happen to you are always balanced by bad things but the converse is not true at all.
