7. How does one get this sort of spam?

I've never gotten such spam in my personal e-mail, but we get 3 or 4 "messages" each day on our family computer. Could it have something to do with "cc'ed" messages? I never get cc'ed messages in my personal e-mail, but we do get them at the family computer e-mail address.

I don't get any on my home lap-top (?), but I am inundated on my work computer. I made the mistake once of replying to each and every one of them in the TAKE ME OFF YOUR MAILING LIST section but that just encouraged them and now I get hundreds a week.

Porn spam. Don't even think about clicking the link that offers to have you name removed. I made that mistake and all you actually do is validate for them that your email address if good. Then you get floods of the stuff.
