New diet? I'm a beer drinker but
think vodka might be the way to go. I'm now trying vodka w/mandarin orange water and a few twists of an orange. I'm thinking it has to be better!

1. vodka is Atkins, beer...is not
The twists of orange might be a little iffy if you're in the induction phase.

2. The fresh orange/lemon/lime is for me.
Yes, I bought various combos for my new 'diet' experiment. But a bit of citrus couldn't hurt, I'm thinking. And I'm thinking if I can avoid beer, it might be 'a good thing'. <-- is that trademarked?
Anyway, beer is bloating and full of empty calories.
I suppose, were this a true diet, alcohol would be nixxed to begin with!

4. I'm a big water drinker, so it's tasting a-okay.
Can't taste too much vodka though I'm not loading up on it, but getting a pleasant buzz. But there's something about that fresh fruit that makes me feel like I'm treating myself better than with just a beer, and I'm not pounding like I might/could/can. As for sparkling, all I drink usually is coffee/tea/water/beer, no sodas. So the sparkling is not a deterrent(sp?), but interesting.
All in all, no complaints so far! I'll let you know in the a.m. how great an idea this was. :)

5. i love to drink flavored sparkling water
plain water, i like without the fizz.

i thought since you are a beer drinker, that maybe sparkling water and vodka would be kind of a nice trade off. GL with your new diet dealio - vodka is 0 carbs, woohoo!

6. Cutting back on everything and see where
it leads me. And the less painful, the better!
BTW, I have lemon and lime sparkling, and the fresh fruit and new vodka to go with it!
And this is sparkling w/o the fizz, though it appeared fizzy when pouring.

7. rasberry stoli and tonic water
That is my dieting drink of choice. Given, I'm a girl... but I'm a drinker. You know you take your drinking seriously when, while dieting, you just do shots instead of getting cocktails.

9. I'm a drinker, but shots are out!
I learned my lesson, but beer was always the tame way to go, though bloating. Now I'm getting wild w/vodka!
