It's, like, licorice booze, for heaven's sake!

My parents had a bottle of this laying around when I was younger. For some reason, we got into it one time. On second thought, maybe there was no reason. I don't remember. Anyway, we were like, WTF? Licorice booze?

"Cooter Brown" is the town drunk. He was one tooth. His shirt has pit stains.

(But not as bad as Retsina.)

Some people have said you can't get the "real" ouzo here, but I suspect their taste buds are damaged, and the "real" ouzo is worse.

The real stuff has codeine in it. And a MAJOR kick! Now, make a wild guess why people outside the US drink it.
