Stay with me here but, I am sick right now (due to the flu) and a little bit drunk (due to the wine) but I have a question...
I have been here for over two years... but this place is sometimes overrun by debutantes. They sometimes seem to take it over, but are soon to be whisked away.
And sometimes this place is just a kettle for the soup of the over imaginative, but they seem to be strained before they have a chance to overpopulate.
I guess what I am asking is... Am I here?

i've been posting to numerous forums/discussion lists/listservs/bbs/blah blah blah (web-based, usenet, what have you) for almost 20 years.

been lurking here for 3 years, posting here for almost 1 year and it still galls me when people throw the term "newbie" around so loosely.

it's funny, and it is a social thing, but there will ALWAYS be cliques, brown nosers, and mutual admiration clubs everywhere you post.

i just sit back and watch the absurdity,
