Paul Williams-Fenway Employee Attacked by Yankees-in Deaconness Hospital
On my local news: Paul Williams, Fenway employee, was attacked by Jeff Nelson after he clapped when the Red Sox pulled off a double play. Karim Garcia joined in the fray, and the Boston Police are considering filing charges against Nelson and Garcia.

I will post a link when one is available.

1. In defense of Nelson, Williams ran at him full speed
so Jeff just stepped aside and flipped him to the ground. <sarcasm>

This story is all over the net

2. At 6'8" and 235, Nelson didn't need Garcia's help
I'm sure he could handle Williams by himself.

4. LMAO-Is he still alive?
I remember him on the Merv Griffin/Mike Douglas/Hollywood Squares circuit in the '70s.

7. Nice-the guy has a neck brace
"Williams was at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center last night, receiving treatment for what the Sox claim to be multiple injuries, including cleat marks on his back and arms."

How does that compare with Don Zimmer's boo boo?

6. What the hell is wrong with people?
Its just a freaking game! It is for entertainment- when people get so wrapped up in their team that they feel they have to get violent- it is time to seek help!

10. It's the Whiny Yankee Fans Who Have the Right to Show Outrage
Don't you know that a boo boo on the nose from an ace Red Sox pitcher outweighs a pummeling by two Yankee bruisers and a subsequent neck brace? Life is not fair in Yankee nation-I bet that Fenway employee deserved his beating!

<sarcasm on>
