16. I really miss it.
But I have used motherhood as an opportunity to learn more about where I live. We plan many day trips-state parks, historical monuments, anything in the area.
It's not so bad. I just wish that I could still hop in my car and drive as far as a tank of gas will take me. That used to be my favorite day-off activity.

21. It will be
there will be some limitations, though. That's why we plan day trips. We get out of the house, see something new, hopefully learn about the beauty of nature or the historical significance of a place and we pack a big picnic.
My parents did that when I was growing up and now I am doing the same thing. My best memories are from the simple day trips, not the big vacations.

Curious. It's not one of the things I want to do, but hanggliding is, and I'm afraid that I'm getting too old (34) to start.

How old is too past prime to start with stuff like that?

29. Never too old. But I had the opportunity to do it for free
when I was in college in the parachute club.

One of the very few things in my life that I truly regret not doing. And I really wanted to at the time, too, but I just didn't pay enough attention to the parachute club meeting times and got absorbed in other stuff and missed the chance.

Someday I'd still like to do it - I see places that offer it for about $100, and that's not bad.

Just once, I'd love to fly through the air in free fall for long, long seconds!!

58. She did about 4 hours of training beforehand
but it wasn't too complicated. She and some of her hen party friends did it in one day. However, they all went out the plane strapped to an experienced jumper. IIRC you have to do a few of these before they allow you to do a solo jump (at least in MN-- local laws may vary)

I've never quite understood that attitude.

36. I suppose it depends on how you define regret for yourself.
If a person is wallowing in regret to the point of living in the past and never moving forward, that's bad. But admitting regret over a past action and using that to motivate you towards a change in the future can be a good thing.
