The Red Sox.....were standing on risers erected on the South Lawn of the White House for close to a half hour yesterday...Suddenly, Sox captain Jason Varitek became aware of something brushing past his elbow.

A second later, Varitek saw an outstretched hand..."Hi" the man said,"George W. Bush"

"It freaked me out" Varitek said, "I was still looking to the right, and I didn't see him.."

The moment gave his teammates a good laugh. "The president spooked our captain" Kevin Millar said, "You don't see our captain spooked much"

1. Bu$h looked extra spooky and stupid on the video that I saw.

Bu$h made some inane comment about not wanting to meet Senator Kerry at a debate "if you know what I mean" . (Apparently, Kerry was there to greet the Red Sox.) Then he leaned/hunched over the podium and flashed that stupid "look! I just said something funny" grin. My lord, what a moran. He walked out to the podium like he a load in his pants. He can't even walk right. And, on top of all that, he made them stand for a half hour on some bleachers waiting for him to come outside.

before the election i said it could be a result of nervousness about the election, but he looks crappier everyday since then. i think he has some disease.
