14. Naaah....
Swore it off years ago! I own my own internet radio station and play whatever I want. And having a blast doing so; I'd never go back to over the air radio..

16. I've been involved with a local college station since 1992.
It's a blast, too! I just love being both on the air and free to be who I am and play what I want.

College radio kicks ass, baby!!! :headbang:

27. Holy shit! That's damned good!
My Internet station rarely has more than 6 or 7 at a clip. How the hell did you attract that many listeners?

30. I became a PR Whore for my own station....
Word of mouth, banners, handing out a gazillion business cards, the internet etc....we've been on the air for going on 3 years, but listenership grew steadily; I had to do alot of networking.

We still have dead zone on the sched, but we do ok. I'm having an absolute blast doing this, and we've got a great bunch of DJ's, so it makes it all the better..

34. Oy!
Hey, if you ever want to do a show on my station, let me know; I'm always looking for new shows, and you can pretty much do and play whatever you want.

I'm not doing this for the money; I'm not making any! I just love the idea of free-form radio and how cool it can be; I'd still be doing this, even if I were the only one listening..

Fucking cold, that's how they are! I can hear the wind howling as I type these words. Plus, in the last five days, we've had two big-ass snowstorms.

Right about now, San Diego sounds nice to my freezing New England butt! :scared:
