Two of my Neighbours died today

Both on the same day and both of cancer.

One of them was an elderly man next door, we found out he had cancer several months ago...the lady down the grove however was a complete shock.

She was only 50 and she had kept her Cancer secret because her elderly father died 4 months ago and she didn't want to burden the family.

I thought I was having a hard time dealing with IBS...a day like today really puts it in perspective.

Selfless? Or Selfish? --- I can't decide.

Im sure her motives were selfless... but the shock her family is feeling today...could make it selfish

3. My aunt did the same thing, Allen.

She died in California a few years ago without telling any of the family back home until it was over. We got a call from her step-daughter to advise us of the funeral arrangements. That blew, and I'm still mad at her for trying to "spare us".
