Sometimes I hate being right
It was a nice day today-- cool but clear, and it was good to be out and about. I saw a radar scan this morning and Texas was clear.

Midday my arthritis started flaring, and I immediately wondered when the rain was gonna start. I was right-- T-storm warnings are all across Texas right now, and rain is coming straight at me.

I wouldn't mind so much if it didn't make my knees and hands ache so badly.

When an arthritic tells you it's gonna rain, trust 'em.

1. Yeah,my mom is pretty reliable in predicting rain.
Hope it isn't hereditary.

2. Arthritis sure is a pain from time to time.
Have you tried any medications? They can really help. Of course you need to be cautious regarding side effects. I've had joint pains since about 1980, and the drugs have made a world of difference.

3. You mean loss of short term memory?
There was another side effect that I read about fifteen minutes ago, but now I cannot remember it.

4. You puzzle me, hfojvt!
What do you mean? I'm not talking about short term memory, but physical side effects, like gastro-intestinal bleeding! Are we on the same page?

5. It was a joke, about a certain herb
which some people use for pain relief, especially in California where they legalised it. Of course, I joke about things which I do not actually do. That is what makes them jokes - they are not serious.

6. OK, I got it! A certain, um, ...weed?
Thank you for clarifying! Sometimes I don't get the jokes. It's not easy when you don't hear the spoken word. Thanks again!

8. Yes, you and I are definitely on the same page!
I've had it twice and the second time was in combination with some wine. The high was very smooth and lovely. However, that was long ago, and there are certainly legal issues to be considered. I don't touch it anymore, esp. since I'm not dying! (The medical marijuana issue).
