Does anyone know how to keep a kitten from ripping apart my puppy
See, my dog got in the cat's food again, and she's looking hungry right now, and chasing the dog through the house. Any suggestions?

3. I agree with the first post
that was the only way both my dogs learned to stay away from the cats, unless they wanted to play...

4. Place your cat's food on a perch, table, or similar high place
that she can jump to, but the puppy can't.

5. We keep ours on top of the fridge
kitty's dish is protected from pup, who thought it was some sort of snack bowl, and kitty gets a bit of exercise every day.

8. Let them work it out.
The puppy will learn.

Reminds me of a story my parents liked to tell, (I was too young to remember this, but I remember the animals.) We were given a dog and a cat. Dog took great delight in chasing the cat around the outside of the house. This went on for a long time. Then one day the dog chased the cat around the house, but the next time they came into view, the cat was on the dog's back. Dog never chased the cat after that.
