We have BADLY spoiled dogs.
We try to feed them at the same times every day, and this happens to be one of those times--- 5:00 p.m. . Any way, I got them started on a quasi-bad habit quite some time ago by putting a 'glug' of milk on their kibble. I was semi-distracted just now, and put the scoop of kibble in their bowls, sans milk. Both just stood there looking at me, as if to say "Well?", until I remembered the milk.

4. And YOU are a badly-trained owner, in their minds. LOL!
I know that look all too well. Sort of reproachful, like, what ARE we going to do with you?

They forgive my lapses quite willingly.

8. No matter what I do, they wag their tails and snuzzle up and are always
happy to see me. You can't say that about many humans! :)

6. In the past I have been guilty of spoiling the dog babies.
Then I had kids. Now the pups are grateful to get fed at all. But the kids sneak them tons of treats, so I guess that makes up for it.

9. Stray cat comes on our sun porch to eat and sleep each night
I bought some kitty treats just for fun...now he expects his treats before he'll eat his food.

He's not even my cat!!!

11. My dogs, Yellow Labs, are eager to get anything/anytime
My cats.....HOWEVER...

My feral cats, totally tame now and lapkitty's, are fairly easy to please. But, my little Himalayan is another story all together. However, it works in well with my two new kittens - Hector and Grindel. The new kittens (thoroughly spoiled at 10 months) will only eat one very specific brand and flavor of canned cat food. This brand/flavor comes with a lot of gravy in the can. Now, every morning I have to open the can, squeeeeeeze all the gravy out with the lid and put it into a seperate bowl for Pandora (the Himalayan). She won't eat the solid food, ONLY the gravy. And it has to be that specific brand/flavor. Fortunately, the kittens and Pandora all like the same flavor or I'd have a real mess on my hands.

And, yes, all my cats have kibble at their disposal at all times. Though, gawd forbid I ever change the brand.

13. Imagine the things they say about you to each other...
;) Jessie is a "looker" too...when things are not going her way. She also does that "What, are you an idiot" head tilt when I'm trying to reason with her. :hi:
