Orchids - appropriate for work?
Edited on Tue Mar-01-05 12:20 PM by MissMillie
A while back I was bemoaning the fact that no one had given me a calendar for Christmas. So when the calendar kiosk at the mall had their sale, I went and purchased a calendar with picture of orchids. I thought it would bring some color to my very tan office: yellow orchids, purple orchids, red orchids.

Each picture is of just one orchid.

You know, as I look at this month's orchid, it looks almost dirty. (It kind of looks like male genitalia.)

Should I take this down and bring in that b&w Ansel Adams calendar I hung up in my kitchen at home?

It's not a dirty picture, it just looks like one. What do you think?

.
and to me, they look very female, not male.

Nothing wrong with having a calendar of them--we have a lot of real orchids at work!

3. Orchids is code for "vaginas"
Get over it and let the staimens flap in the breeze. Orchids are so much nicer than boring old black and white ansel adams prints, and i've been to Yosemite.

Ouch, guys!
