this post is based on a conversation i had with a fellow DUer who met his wife online. I met my husband online almost 6 years ago. We will celebrate our 5th anniversary next week on the 10th.

Apple used to have an online community called eWorld. Ms. Krebs hosted a couple of rooms- one on food, one on jazz, and another was a game in which we tried to guess the meaning of obscure words.

It's been 9 years now. :-)

we met in a religious debate chat room a few years ago, but were just friends, until a year and a half ago- we decided to hook up, and I moved out here to Indiana, from Washington State on January 15th, 2004.

I was so scared when I flew in!!! But, he and I hit it off just like we expected, and we are now talking about marraige.

We already consider eachother hubby and wife, and even wear the rings- just haven't gone through the legal measures yet. :loveya:
