I'm all for civil liberties so I guess that Liberatarians at least have that part right where as Republicans don't.

4. It is mainly the Objectivists that bother me...

they do have a severe impact on society. I know, at least, that the head of the FR, Greenspan, is an Ayn Rand groupie.

I started this poll because RW Libs bother me. I can debate a Republican rather logically usually. But goddamn RW Libs and Objectivists act like they are they know everything thier is to know, that they are right on every issue, and that everyone else is wrong. That just really, really pisses me off.

Similar to Scientology™, which was the name of an obscure pre-WW2 German philosophical movement.

15. The funny thing about Objectivists

I actually went to a meeting as a college freshman to see what it is all about. I was suprised that a group of people who were supposedly logical and individualistic were citing Ayn Rand like Fundamentalists cite the Bible. Whenever I asked a question, it began like "Well, Ayn Rand says." It was never based upon reason which they claim to uphold.
