Water at bottom of frig?

We have an older Whirlpool 19.5 cu ft frost free refrigerator/freezer(on top).
It is collecting water on the inside of the refrigerator. About an inch of water under both crisper bins.

What is that from?

Isn't there a program, in California, that will give you credit towards buying a newer, more energy efficient one, and they pick it up no charge?

1. Sounds like a bad condenser....

...although I am not a refrigerator repairperson.

I don't know what the drill is in California....I live in Chicago.

2. Pull out the drawers and check to see if there is a drain with a plug.

We had a model like this with a drain and a pan underneath for when the freezer defrosted. :hi:

3. you could have a bad gasket seal around the door

so humidity could be getting in and collecting too.
