I just saw "Kill Bill, Part 1"
This is a neat movie. Sort of a combination of spaghetti western and over-the-top kung-fu.

The most disturbing part by far was the trailer for Scary Movie 3.

1. I saw it too
Liked it alot...

We got the trailer for Matrix Revolutions. It looks amazing...

Kill Bill reminded me of a big comic book gone wild! I'm not a QT fan, but I respect his abilities!!!

And...

UMA............................

3. I don't know...
Quentin considers himself thee: Howard Stern of movies ~

'Pulp' had major troubles for me and other screenplay pals O'mine. But it is all like...just let Uma just stand there dude and turn the camera on and let 'the movie magic' happen. Pixie does like 'Res Dogs' though and now I'm thinking about making her sleep all the way on the other side of the bed every other Tuesday for admitting it today.

From what I have seen of the trailers; he wants to do Anime/Matrix/Seven Crouching Tiger White Bread then he should do so.

Maybe I'll put it on my Netflix que and save the money...

4. I heard it was terribly violent
and not that good. And this coming from three guys who normally like videogames and action movies.

5. "Terribly violent?"
There's certainly a lot of fighting, but I don't know if I'd go that far. Think Crouching Tiger with blood and you'll have it about right. The gorier (is that a word?) bits are incredibly fake-looking.

The plot itself is artistic and nonsensical, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. If you liked the way Tarantino did Pulp Fiction, you'll probably be okay with this movie.

One caveat: Keep in mind, this movie is "Kill Bill, Part 1". The script was obviously written in such a way so that anyone who watches this movie will feel compelled to see the next one. Kinda like Matrix: Reloaded without the suck.
