You gota give Halle Berry credit...she showed up in person to receive
her Razzie for Worst Actress for her role in Catwoman! I think she's got a great sense of humor--she handle Adrian Brody's kiss pretty good, too.

1. did Bush show upto accept his too?
"Catwoman" won worst picture and worst actress for Berry as well as worst director and screenplay.

Bush was named worst actor for Michael Moore's "Fahrenheit 9/11" documentary and Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld won worst supporting actor and worst screen couple went to Bush and either Condoleezza Rice or "My Pet Goat," the book he was reading to kids during the 9/11 attacks.

3. So, are you still getting residuals from the movie?
;-)

No, Bush didn't show up. Apparently the only other person to receive one in person was Tom Greene a few years back!

13. You know, I'm not sure I even want to see it just to see how bad it is...
...there are some movies that are so bad they're good (Plan 9 from Outer Space, for example), but some bad movies that are just bad. I think Catwoman probably falls into the later category.

19. the way i see it
in general:

bad movies with really low production values/costs = funny
bad movies with high production values/costs = just bad

But for the life of me, I can't figure out why she won the Oscar. I thought Monster's Ball was awful.

12. Didn't care for that movie, either... had the feel of a movie that thinks
it's better than it is.

She was decent in it, I thought, deserving of a nomination, but maybe not the win. She has Billy Bob Thornton to thank--he's brilliant, and actors/actresses when they play opposite brilliance, they bring up their game a notch. Kate Hepburn rubbed off on every person she worked with--look at all the people around her who got Oscars when they worked with her!

25. Ironic...
...in the truest sense of the word - considering her hit and run incident of a few years back.

But I agree, it was a impressive of her to show up and actually accept it. And before any flames start, I do like her.

26. My take on that hit and run...which I think she handles poorly...was that
she wasn't actually driving...it was her boyfriend, who became her husband, who she's now divocring. I hear he has a drug problem, and if he had admitted to driving, he would have probably been tested and lost of stuff found in his system.

Well, despite the divorce, which can't be pleasant, she seems to be doing all right.

27. What I find interesting is her reasoning for showing up.
"When I was a kid, my mother told me that if you could not be a good loser, then there's no way you could be a good winner."

That shows someone who's more than willing to admit when she's wrong, or to roll with the punches.
