You may be interested to know that I'm playing a singer/songwriter gig tonight, not far from you. The venue is

It's a duo gig, myself and Tim Mungenast, another singer/songwriter for whom I play bass in his regular band. (Essentially this gig *is* his regular band, but without the drummer!)

And I will get to play some of my tunes. I'm not as prolific a songwriter as Tim is, but I've been -- inspired, if that's the word I want -- by the Chimpministration to come up with some doozies, and I'll be playing them tonight. Highlights include "Welcome to Kyoto," about the folly of bowing out of the accord, and my brand new punk rock attack tune "Pay No Attention to the Man Behind the Curtain."

9. It's was a wonderfully long day yesterday, I'm pooped today!

What do you do when you plan a lecture hoping 50 people show up and yet 200 people overflow your room?

Well, that's what happened last night when our Pacem in Terris group sponsered a lecture last night with DU's favorite: William Rivers Pitt.

I'm sure somewhere right now as we speak, Will is driving home from Logan International probably half asleep behind the wheel!
