I was leaving a local restaurant after lunch today and happened to notice a car in the parking lot with the above mentioned vanity license plate.

Wellington Restaurant, NW suburban Chicago.

I am relatively new to DU and have yet to meet a fellow DUER in person. Who has this plate?? Care to do lunch sometime, my treat!!

2. I have seen some kind of van in the Skokie area with commercial plates

DU1. It is not mine, I have a boring seven-number generic Illinois plate.

Never had a vanity plate, not that there is anything wrong with that.

A commercial plate DU1 may stand for Dick's Underbody. I hope not though. This was in Arlington Heights, didn't note the car make but a passenger car, late model, gray. Nice car!!

8. I've met quite a few Chicago DU'ers..............

But none of them are from the NW burbs. At least none that I remember.

I once met a guy on the street with an "I <heart> DU" button on. Turns out he attends Denver University.
