I'm watching the BTK news conference on CNN and just

when they're going to announce the name, the talking head Andrea Koppell interrupts and then they show a long ass clip of some footage. That shit pisses me off. Just a comment about how these talking heads love to hear themselves yammer on. I tuned in (don't know why I turned on CNN, actually; they suck) to listen to the news conference, not you, lady! Grrrrrrrrr...

1. took forever to get to a name and picture, didn't it?

i set my alarm to get up to watch this - i'm formally from that area so have been interested in these goings-on for all these years. my family members were terrified when the killings were at their peak. i hope they have the right person and that it helps to bring some kind of closure to the victims' families.

2. Never even heard the name and totally missed what the cop

(in the blue uniform said) had to say because Koppell and some loud-mouthed dude wouldn't shut up. In fact, she said, "Looks like they're getting ready to announce the name," they go to the conference, and then (no lie), they go to some taped report. WTF?

They finally showed the picture after the fact didn't they? I have a mind to send a nasty email to CNN, but don't know if it'll do any good.

The alleged (hope they have the right person, too) killer looks like a creep.

4. Dennis Rader is the name - he's in some kind of law enforcement

or security or something - they just showed some old footage of him in some kind of program wearing some kind of a uniform - totally fits the psychological profiles, doesn't it?
