Project Runway: Austin's Decoy show.
Did everyone get a chance to see Austin's designs? Info compliments of finecraft:

Go to http://www.bravotv.com/Project_Runway and scroll down to the video. I couldn't get it to run on AOL, but it does fine on other browsers.

1. I swear......
I would wear that man's clothes anytime....they feel really classy.

But I'm still really glad that Jay won. He was my favorite hands down.

3. Austin was definitely in his own class. Way too talented for the show.
But I agree, Jay was the right one to win. He has a unique creativity that is fun to see and still developing. As for Kara Saun, that woman has an eye for the fit. She understands a woman's body and I hope she can find a way to market her style.

2. Yes, and I was impressed
he seems to design like Chanel, more timeless than funk. I like Jay, but his clothes were too "out there" for me, the same with Kara. Wendy's line seemed to be themeless.

4. Wendy was so outclassed. She has more of a business mind,
than a creative one.

5. did you read his interview along with the video?
in it, he states that he only had a month and a half to complete his line, whereas the others had several months. He was literally up all night before his show sewing. If you watch the video, he comes out in a heavy coat, his hair is not done, etc. One would have thought he would have come out in something fabulous, especially for his runway show, but he says he just didn't have time. Also, in the interview he states that he didn't have the time to do all the finishing on the garments like he would have liked to have completed, and was roundly criticized in publications after the show, for this. Personally, I thought his line was gorgeous. I loved the cuts and lines of his clothing, and thought it much more sophisticated than either Jay's or KaraSaun's. I did agree with Jay being the winner, and I certainly liked his personality and sensibilities. I know everyone was raving about KaraSaun's clothing; I really liked much of what she designed for each task but I really didn't like too many of the pieces she created for her show. I especially didn't like the shenanigans she pulled about the shoes! You just know she knew exactly what was in that contract she signed, and knew it specifically stated she wasn't able to accept stuff gratis, etc!! It kinda made me wonder about her a little bit. Especially after she had lit into Wendy! I really enjoyed the show and can't wait for Season 2; anyone know when it will be on?
