Ever gratuitously start a thread early in the AM bc it won't sink as fast?

I'm a huge threadkiller and notorious jackass, so sometimes i like to start threads early in the morning before a lot of people are posting just so that they'll stick around a little longer before falling off the first page.

1. I time mine.

I get into work ridiculously early....5AM. So, I wait at least until 6 before I post mine. Just so they can stay a little bit before the main rush (around 8AM CST)

2. i usually get to work around 7:30AM EST, which gives me a chance

to get one or two in beforethe main rush if i'm feeling like i don't have anything worthwhile to say that day, yet still want to see a thread with my name appended to it on the front page:D

3. Nah, mine seem to sink whatever time I post them.

I just get 'em in early so they'll disappear faster. :D

4. No, but I do seem to notice I have "up" days, where I get lots of response

and enjoy the banter...and then "down" days where people seem to avoid me like the plague. But the down days seem to be somehow connected to days I post a lot in GD. :shrug:

5. No - I usually post threads at night - sometimes really stupid

inane ones that get completely out of control and when I wake up and it's still on the front page, I want to change my screen name

there's a thread in GD that I haven't contributed to in about 100 posts. This is day 3 and it's still on the front page. I'm tired of the sniping.
