My aunt always calls me a blonde because I tend to be somewhat of a klutz. The name just kinda stuck. But brunettes definitely have more fun! And thank you, it's you all that make my mornings brighter!

Shopping was a wonderful way to pass time while it's still too cold to go for long walks {or Trike rides} .

When I said - "That's it - I have something to wear everywhere - I quit, I'm done with shopping." - my friends ask me to still "look" for things for them - and there is the problem. I'm still finding great bargains for me - wonderful things, marked way the heck down but my closets and dresser-drawers are overflowing - I really must Stop shopping right after I replace a broken birdbath.

Oh, I can still find my way around :shrug:

but it's not my home anymore.

The Atlanta of my youth was "quiet and gracious" and I'm not that old. I'm talking about back in the 60's. We could and did "party" :party: Atlanta was Hotlanta way back then too.

The difference is ~ back then ~ you could run into a store to pick up milk, leaving your car unlocked with the windows down ... and it would be there, untouched, when you returned to it. I used to sleep with the doors to my house - unlocked and open to allow a breeze to pass through the screen doors.

My Last Job was "opening and running a corporate-owned store so well that for years they wanted to know how I was doing it".

My neck will always be "a pain in the neck" but I make the best of my good days and remember that the bad days will pass.

I watch birds and the seasons change. When the weather is above 40 degrees - I try to spend time outdoors - doing anything.
