overpriced with mediocre food ....but fun to pass at night with your friends that have never been to Cali and say..."Hey look! There's the Hotel California album cover!"

5. The Hotel California is in Santa Monica

right across from a Wells Fargo. I forgot the name of the street. It says "The Hotel California" right on the sign.

I think it was Santa Monica they whole place was all the same to me.

17. Ick the marmont SUCKS. It's terribly overrated, the rooms smell of mildew

and have really silly decor... and the service generally sucks.. even for movie starts, trust me.

Regent Beverly Wilshire is the finest, as is the Four Seasons.
